Stain Logic
Overview

We remove what you thought was permanent

Before you assume the stain owns your sofa, let's diagnose what we're actually looking at. Spinwinera professionals understand that every stain tells a story—and every fabric needs a different solution. Spinwinera IT brings diagnostic precision to Milan's most stubborn cleaning challenges.

What happened to your fabric?

Start here. Pick the crisis.

Pet Accidents

Urine, vomit, or feces on upholstery or carpet. Spinwinera IT specialists know that pet stains require enzymatic treatment to break down organic compounds—not just surface cleaning. The odor often runs deeper than the visible mark.

Wine, Coffee, Food

Liquid spills that set fast. Spinwinera technicians assess whether the stain is still wet or has oxidized, because timing changes everything. Tannins in wine and proteins in dairy demand different extraction speeds.

Ground-In Dirt

Dust, mud, or tracked soil embedded in fibers. Spinwinera IT uses pre-spray agitation to suspend particles before extraction, preventing them from resettling deeper into the weave.

Unknown Origin

You don't know what it is. That's exactly why Spinwinera exists—we identify the stain type first, then choose the chemistry and temperature that will actually work on your specific fabric.

Why your fabric type changes everything

Wool, microfibre, cotton, linen, synthetic blend—each needs its own approach.

Wool

Protein fiber that shrinks under heat and alkaline detergent. Spinwinera IT uses cool water and pH-neutral solutions to preserve lanolin and fiber structure. Drying must be slow and flat to prevent felting.

Microfibre

Synthetic split-fiber that traps oils and liquids. Spinwinera specialists apply solvent-based pre-treatments before water extraction to break the oil bond, preventing re-soiling within days of cleaning.

Cotton & Linen

Cellulose fibers that tolerate heat and alkaline chemistry. Spinwinera IT can use warmer water and stronger detergents on these sturdy materials, speeding extraction and drying without fiber damage.

The equipment and process that matters

Not all cleaning machines are equal. Here's what ours do differently.

Pre-Visit Diagnosis

You describe the stain and fabric over the phone or via our intake form. Spinwinera IT technicians ask specific questions about age, attempted treatments, and fabric care tags. This conversation determines whether we bring enzyme, solvent, or oxidation chemistry to your home.

  • Stain age and visibility
  • Fabric content and weave
  • Any prior cleaning attempts

On-Site Assessment

Our technician arrives with a portable spectrometer and moisture meter. Spinwinera specialists test the stain's composition and the fabric's current moisture level. This real-time data guides chemical selection and water temperature, ensuring no guesswork.

  • Stain composition analysis
  • Fiber condition and dye stability
  • Environmental humidity and airflow

Targeted Treatment

Spinwinera IT applies the chosen chemistry with controlled dwell time—usually 5–15 minutes depending on stain type. We agitate gently or vigorously based on fiber strength. The goal is to suspend the stain particles without damaging the weave.

  • Enzyme or solvent pre-spray
  • Controlled agitation by fiber type
  • Precise dwell time monitoring

Extraction & Drying

Our truck-mounted extractor uses 300+ PSI with dual-vacuum recovery to pull moisture and dissolved stain particles out in one pass. Spinwinera IT then positions air movers and dehumidifiers to dry your fabric in 4–8 hours, preventing mold and odor rebound.

Your questions about pets, durability, and what sticks

Will this happen again? Can your fabric handle it?

Will the stain come back after cleaning? +

Not if we extract all the stain particles and residual detergent. Spinwinera IT rinses thoroughly to remove soap film, which is the main cause of rapid re-soiling. However, if your pet has access to the same spot, the behavior may repeat—that's a training issue, not a cleaning failure. Spinwinera specialists can recommend enzymatic treatments to mask the scent marker and discourage re-marking.

Can you clean delicate fabrics like silk or velvet? +

Yes, with extreme care. Spinwinera IT uses low-moisture encapsulation or dry-solvent methods on pile fabrics to avoid crushing the nap or causing watermarks. We test a hidden corner first and always disclose the risk. Some vintage or hand-dyed pieces may not be suitable for wet cleaning—Spinwinera specialists will tell you honestly if a stain is beyond safe treatment.

How long does it take for fabric to dry? +

Spinwinera IT typically leaves air movers running for 4–8 hours after cleaning. Drying time depends on humidity, airflow, and fabric thickness. Wool and natural fibers dry slower than synthetics. We provide a dehumidifier and fan setup, and you can open windows to speed evaporation. Do not use the furniture until it's completely dry—sitting on damp fabric can cause mildew and odor.

What's your guarantee if the stain doesn't come out? +

Spinwinera IT guarantees that we will remove the stain if it is removable. Some stains—particularly old set-in dyes or bleach damage—are permanent. We assess this before we start and will not charge you if the stain is beyond recovery. If we treat it and it returns within 30 days due to our extraction failure, we return at no charge to re-treat.

How do I prevent stains from setting in the future? +

Blot immediately—never rub. Use cool water and a white cloth to absorb liquid before it wicks deeper. Spinwinera IT recommends keeping a spray bottle of plain water and white vinegar (1:1) on hand for fresh spills. For pet accidents, enzyme cleaner applied within hours will break down the organic matter before it oxidizes. Professional fabric protection (like Scotchgard) can also slow stain penetration, giving you more time to act.
